There is a sign near my house that has a similar layout as the first example below, the name here is fictional. It’s a terrible layout in terms of planning. This prioritizing might work for an upscale restaurant where the atmosphere, meals, and service are renowned. For businesses that cater to local traffic, the message needs to reinforce the products and convenience.

The second layout emphasizes what is sold at the business. If the business were mine, I would use the third layout; but others might consider it too unconventional. These layout ideas of course apply to other graphic productions. In a broader scale, marketing experts say that you should advertise the benefits to the customer, not promote how good your business is. You promote home comfort instead of better air conditioning units; family safety instead of well made tires.
